Year in Review
Highlights
The Drum and Bugle Corps captured all caption awards and secured the Class A Division championship title at the inaugural DCI All-Ages competition.
The Parade and Concert Corps entertained audiences across southern Minnesota, including the communities of Le Center, Fairmont, Nicollet, North Mankato, Le Sueur, and, of course, the beautiful city of St Peter.
The Winter Percussion Ensemble impacted students across Minnesota through educational open houses and clinics. The group also competed in the Minnesota Percussion Association (MPA) circuit.
The Alumni Group continued their unwavering support of Govenaires ensembles through social events, a member scholarship, and fundraising efforts.
Financial Stewardship: Thanks to the generosity of our donors and community partners, we successfully raised $20,305 this year. These funds supported our operational costs, food costs, travel costs, and the purchase of a new bus.

Our solid equity position provides a buffer for the organization, ensuring its financial health as it continues to expand its programs and engage with its community.
Looking Ahead
As we move into 2025, we are excited to announce several new initiatives:
Planning for our 100 year anniversary is underway, and we’re looking forward to an epic celebration in 2027.
Recruitment efforts are ramping up and we already have many potential members who have expressed interest in participating in 2025.
An Ireland trip will take place in August of 2025, where the Parade and Concert Corps will represent the Govenaires on a national stage at the Rose of Tralee celebration.
