Sponsor a Meal
Generosity Matched
Ruth and Jed Stark sponsored a chicken dinner catered by Hy-Vee. To match their donation, the Fairmont Hy-Vee catered the meal for free and threw in cookies for dessert.
Members of the Govenaires take pride in the corps through our dedication to performance. This requires focused day-long rehearsals nearly every weekend to put on our best show for our fans.
One of the largest annual expenses for the Govenaires is making sure our members are well fed, especially when we’re on the road. Providing our members with the nourishment they need to rehearse and perform their best requires the support of many volunteers and will cost approximately $12,000 this summer. Sponsoring a meal allows supporters to directly contribute to the cost of feeding our members while we are on the road.
The Govenaires currently need funding for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for our various tour weekends throughout the summer.
If you are interested in sponsoring a meal, please email president@govenaires.org to work directly with us to find the meal that fits your desired donation.
