Emily Moe

Professional Life

Emily Moe joins the leadership team as Membership Director. She has been a piano teacher for almost 30 years. She has two masters degrees: one in piano pedagogy from Northeastern Illinois University and one in community music from the University of Limerick, in Ireland.

Philosophy and personal Life

Emily believes that laughter and joy are the most important educational tools we have available. She grew up in St. Peter, loving the Govenaires from a very early age, but only found her way to actually march five years ago. She’s been in the pit and in the horns. She lives in Duluth with her folk-singer husband Adam.
