Govenaires Work

Ruth started as a performing member of the Govenaires colorguard in 1996, and has been involved off and on as an instructor and performer since then. In addition to instructing the Govies colorguard, Ruth has instructed and designed for several high school programs in MN, IA and OH.

Marching Experience

Ruth started her marching career at Waseca High School, and is currently their colorguard director and instructor. She marched with Onyx winterguard out of Dayton OH in 2002, has performed with Good Cooks and Rural Route Dance ensembles since 2000, as well as with Kinetic Fusion for the MN Fringe Festival in 2003.

Personal and Professional Life

When not involved with the performance groups, Ruth is a nurse working in St Peter, and lives in Mankato. She enjoys camping and hiking and generally being outdoors.
