Rachel Miller
Govenaires Work
Rachel started with the Govenaires as a performing member in 2015 playing mellophone. She marched for three consecutive seasons and was a staff member in 2017. In addition to teaching with the Govenaires, she has been a marching instructor with Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School, Sartell High School, Sartell Middle School, and most recently, the Anoka High School Marching Tornadoes.
Marching Experience
Rachel began marching mellophone as a student at Blaine High School. She was a member of the mellophone section in the 2009 Bands of America Honor Band in the Rose Parade. In addition to marching with the Govenaires, Rachel has also marched with Minnesota Brass and Chops Inc.
Personal and Professional Life
Rachel holds a B.M. in music education from Concordia College and a M.A. in educational technology leadership from George Washington University. She currently works as an instructional coach for computer science educators across the US and Canada. Rachel lives in Hopkins with her cat Phoebe.
