Molly Hanzelka
Govenaires Work
Molly began her career with the Govenaires in 1994. During her 30-year involvement with the corps she has been a performer, technician, choreographer, staff coordinator, program coordinator, colorguard caption head, and now Co-Director of the Parade & Concert Corps.
Marching Experience
Outside of the Govenaires, Molly’s performance experience includes the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps, from Dubuque, IA, and Onyx, a World Class winterguard from Dayton, OH, along with various local colorguard and modern dance organizations.
Molly has taught numerous high school and independent programs throughout Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and Ohio including: fall marching band, winterguard, and summer parade marching. She is a director, choreographer, and design consultant. She is also a marching arts costume designer/producer.
Personal Life
Outside of drum corps duties, Molly lives and works in the Twin Cities area. She's married to Mike Hanzelka (the field corps Artistic Director) and they have 2 cats: Freddy and Bebe. They enjoy exploring their local walking trails and are grateful for the opportunity to travel frequently.
